A road roller rolls 300 complete revolutions on a field to level it. The diameter of roller base is 63 m and it's length is 100 m. Find the area of field. ​

Step-by-step explanation

Diameter of roller = 63m

therefore, radius of roller = 63/2 = 31.5

Length of the roller = 100m

Since,

C.S.A of roller (cylinder) = 2πrh

                                        = 2 x 22/7 x 31.5 x 100

                                        = 19,800 m^2

Number of revolutions completed = 300

Therefore, Area of playground= 19,800 x 300 = 5,940,000 m^2
