Answer:

The area of the road is 2917.20 m²

Step-by-step explanation:

Diameter of the roller = 182cm

We know that diameter = 2 * Radius

Therefore, radius of the roller = 182/2 = 91 cm

Length of the roller = 1.5 m = 150 cm

We know that for a cylinder,

Curved Surface Area = 2πrh

                                    = 2 * \frac{22}{7} * 91 * 150

                                    = 85800 cm²

We know that,

Area covered = No. of revolutions * Area in 1 revolution

                       = 340 * 85800 cm²

                       = 29172000 cm²

                       = 2917.2 m²

Therefore, the area of the road is 2917.20 m²
