A road roller takes one revolution while moving down a road. If it's radius is 70 CM and width is 1.2 m, find the area covered by it in square metre

Thank you for asking this question. Here is your answer:

We know that the length of the roller is 1m which is 100 cm

And in order to find the circumference of the roller we will use the  following formula:

π x D

22/7 X 84

264 cm

In order to find the length of the road we will multiply 264 by 750

the answer for that would be 198000 cm

Now we will find the width of the road, it will be equal to the length of the roller, which is 100 cm.

Now we will find the area of the road:

198000 x 100 = 19,800,000 cm² or 1980 m²
