A rock is thrown off a cliff with a speed of 0.7 m/s downward. How far will it fall after 3 seconds have elapsed?

The rock would've fallen 47.1 m if we take g = 10 metre per second square.

If g is taken to be equal to 9.8 metre per second square, it would've fallen 46.2 m after 3 seconds had elapsed.
