Hi
The distance travelled by the rocket in 1 minute (60 s) with a = 10 m / s^2 upward is
h= 1/2 × 10 × 60^2
= 18000 m
= 18 km
Velocity acquired =>
v = 10 × 60
= 600 m / s
now here a=10m/s^2
if we take acceleration due to gravity=10m/s^2
then same time is taken by the rocket when he will goes down i.e 1min
so total time taken 1+1=2min=120sec
so that is the answer
maximum hieight =18km
total time=2min
hope i got the correct answer 4u
