Answer:

The answer should be C.

Because as we know that the total energy of a system is always remain conserved . the kinetic energy of the rocket which will be its initial energy which will be converted into its potential energy totally at the height which will be able to gained by the rocket which is not fired with the escape velocity and that potential energy when again gets converted into kinetic energy and the rocket will fall down this means that the sum of the Potential energy and the kinetic energy will always remain 0 until any external force is applied on the rocket.
