A rocket is moving at speed of 200m/sec towards a stationary target. While moving, it emits a wave of frequency 1000hz. Some of the sound reaching the target reflected back to the rocket as an echo. Calculate the frequency of the sound as detected by the target

apparent frequency received by the target

=f1=1000[330/(330-200)]

the sound gets refelcted thus the apparent frequency received by the rocket is

=f2=f1[(330+200)/330]=1000[(330+200)/(330-200)]

=1000×(530/130)

=4076.923 Hz
