therefore, KE is directly proportional to v²
thus....
KE₁=1/2mv²
KE₂=1/2m(3v)²
=1/2m(6v²)
=6(1/2mv²)
=6KE₁
therefore the ratio is=1:6

KE₁=1/2mv²
KE₂=1/2m(3v)²
=1/2m(6v²)
=6(1/2mv²)
=6KE₁
