A rocket is moving upward with acceleration of 3 g. Calculate the effective weight of a man sitting in it his actual weight is 75 kg?

Hello..!!

Acceleration of the rocket = 3g

Acceleration due to gravity = g

Weight = 75kg

Effective weight = 75(-2g)

= -150g or 150 kg wt.

Here negative sign indicates the loss in weight of man.

Effective weight=m×(a+g) =75×4g=75×4×9.8=2940newtons
