After 5 seconds, the mass of the rocket is

M₂ = 6000 - 1(5) = 5995 kg

M₁ = 6000 kg.   dm/dt = 1 kg/s

F = dP / dt

F = v (dm/dt)

M₂a = v (dm/dt)

5995a = 10 (1)

a = 0.00166 m/s²
