A rocket of initial mass 6000k.g eject mass at a constant rate of 16 k.g with constant relative speed of 11km/s. What is the acceleration of the rocket a minute after a blast?

Hence, the mass will be 6000-(dm/dt)*t. The time taken will be 1min or 60 second. So, 6000-(16*60)=5040 kg. Therefore, the force of the rocket will be given as F=udm/dt-ma. Since the force will not be there, hence, the acceleration will be 11*10^3*16/5040 which on solving we will get 34.92 m/s.
