Answer:-

Volume of cylinder = πr^2h

Volume of rod = Volume of wire

=>  π*1^2*30 = π*r^2*300

=>  1*30 = r^2*300

=>  r^2 = 1/10

=> r = 1/√(10) cm

=> diameter = 2r = 2 / √10 cm
