Role of human beings in biodiversity conservation:
- Government can issue legislation which protects natural habitats and harvests natural resources. This can have a huge impact on maintaining natural biodiversity.
- We can create National Parks to protect a region and the organisms that live there. This is excellent because it protects the natural habitat and is a place where people can view the ecosystem.
- We need to reduce the number of invasive species.
- We need to restore habitats. This means bringing back the plants and animals that are naturally found there.
- Promote captive breeding seed banks.
- Reduce climatic changes by reducing the amount of fossil fuels, which directly cause climate change.
