dimensions of door =1.5×2.4. m
dimensions of window = 1×0.75

(1). area of wall excluding door and 2 windows = C.s.a of room - area of door - 2×area of window
2(l+b)h - l×b - 2×area of window

=2(5+4.5)3.6 - 1.5×2.4 -2 ×1×0.75
=2×9.5×3.6 - 3.6 - 1.5
=19×3.6 - 3.6 - 1.5
=18×3.6 -1.5
=64.8 -1.5
=63.3 m^2

(2) cost of distempering the wall = area of wall × rate
= 63.3 × 4.5
= Rs 284.85

(3) area of roof of wall = l×b = 5×4.5 = 22.5 m^2

cost of painting roof = area × rate
=22.5 ×9
=Rs 202.50
