A room 9.5m long and 6m wide is surrounded by a verandah 1.25 m wide . Calculate the cost of cementing the floor of this veranda at rs 27 per sq. meter

Dimensions of Verandah = 6m × 1.25m

Area of Verandah = 7.5 m²

Cost of cementing per m² = Rs. 27

Total Amount required for Cementing Verandah floor = 7.5 × 27 = Rs. 202.5 ≈ Rs. 202
