Answer:

342 m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Area to be whitewashed=Area of 4 walls -(Area of door+Area of window)

Area to be whitewashed=LSA-(l*b + l*b)

                                         =2h(l+b) - ( 4*2 + 2*1)

                                         =2*8(12+10) - (8+2)

                                         =16 * 22 - 10

                                         =352 - 10

                                         =342 m^2

HEYA THERE !!☺

First of all , we have to find .......

AREA OF DOOR = l × b

= 4×2 = 8 m^2

AREA OF WINDOW = l × b

= 2 × 1 = 2 m^2

AREA OF WALL = 2 ( l + b ) h

= 2 ( 12 + 10 ) 8

= 2 ( 176 ) = 352 m ^2

AREA OF WALL WHICH WILL BE WHITEWASH

= AREA OF WALL – AREA OF DOOR + AREA

OF WINDOW

= 352 – 8 + 2

= 352 – 10

= 342 m ^2

HOPE THIS WILL HELP ✌✌
