Answer :-

  • Cost of Carpeting the Floor = 2800 Rs

Given :-

  • Length of Room = 10 m
  • Width of Room = 8 m

To Find :-

  • Cost of Carpeting the Floor = ?

Explanation :-

As above given, we have Length & Width of the room. So, we will find the area of floor that needed to be carpeted.

\blue { \boxed { \bf \bigstar \: Area \: of \: Floor = Length \times Width \: \bigstar}}

\sf : \: \longmapsto Length \times Width = Area \: of \: Floor

\sf : \: \longmapsto (10 \times 8) \: m^2

\green { \sf : \: \longmapsto \bold{80 \: m^2} \quad \star }

Now, we will find the cost of carpeting

\sf : \: \longmapsto Cost \: of \: Carpeting \: 1 \: m^2  = \bold{35 \: R_S}

\sf : \: \longmapsto Cost \: of \: Carpeting \: 80 \: m^2,

                               \sf = (80 \times 35) \: R_S

                              \purple { \underline { \boxed { \bf \star \quad= 2800 \: R_S \quad \star }}}

Hence, the Cost of carpeting the floor of the room is 2800 Rs.

Answer:

₹2800

Step-by-step explanation:

First, find the area of the floor.

10 m x 8 m = 80 m²

Next, multiply the area by the rate of carpeting.

80 m² x  ₹35/m²

(cross out m²)

80 x  ₹35 =  ₹2800

Hope this helps!
