Hereis your answer! ! !
Lenght of the room = 12 m
Breadth of the room = 10 m
Area of the room = 12 × 10 = 120 m^2
Lenght of one carpet = Lenght of room
Breadth of carpet = 70 cm = 0.7 m
Area of 1 carpet = 12 × 0.7 = 8.4 m^2
No. of carpets needed = Area of room / Area of 1 carpet
= 120 / 8.4
= 14.2
So,
No. of carpets needed is 14 full lenght and one half lenght carpet.
Cost of one carpet = 60 rs
Total cost = 14.2 × 60 = 852 rs
