a room is 12 metre × 10 metre × 15 metre find the cost of painting the four walls of the room at rupees 28 per metre ^2 given that the windows and doors occupy 50 metre ^2​

Answer:

The length,breadth and height of the room is 12m,10m and 15m respectively.

Now, the total area of the four walls of the room is = 15 ×2(10+12) sqm

= 30×22

= 660sqm

Substracting the area of the windows and doors , the area that is left is = (660 - 50)sqm = 610sqm.

If , to paint 1 sqm it requires 28 rupees

so, to paint 610 sqm it will require = 610×28 = 17080 rupees.
