Answer:

Rs.3000

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that

Length of room = 12m

Breadth of room = 10m

Now,we need to find it's floor area

using area of Rectangle formula

Area = lenghth x breadth

=> area = 12(10)

=> area = 120 m^2

Therefore, Area of Floor = 120 m^2

Now find out each brick area = 20(6)

=> each brick area = 120 cm^2

But area of brick is in centimeters so we need to convert it into meters

Area of each brick = 120/100*100 m^2

We can get number of bricks required to fill room by dividing room area with one brick area.

Number of Bricks = ( 120 ) /[ ( 120 ) / 100*100 ]

= ( 120 )( 10000 ) /120

Here 120 get cancelled

= 10000

Number of Bricks = 10000

They given that cost of every 1000 bricks = 300

Therefore, Cost = ( Total bricks )( 300 )/( 1000)

=> cost = ( 10000 )(300)/1000

=> cost = 10(300)

=> cost = 3000 Rs.

Therefore, Total Cost = Rs. 3000
