Answer:

area of rect. room= length x breadth

=12 x 6

= 72 m^2

then area of tiles = L x B

9cm x 8 cm= 72 cm^2

cost of tiles per meter= 72/.72

=7200/72=100 rs.

Answer:

Floor is to be covered with tiles so we have to.find the area of the floor.

So, area of the floor = l × b

= 12× 6 m² = 72m².

Area of 1 tile = l × b

= 0.09 × 0.08 m² = 0.0072 m².

No. of tiles needed = Area of floor/ Area of 1 tile

= 72m² / 0.0072m² = 10000 tiles

Cost of 10000 tiles = Rs. 4.25 × 10000

= Rs. 42500
