Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

First of all we have to find the area of the room.

Area of the room (which is rectangle) = l x b

= 13.6 x 6.4

= 87.04m²

Side length of marble tile = 80cm

= 80/100

= 0.8 x 0.8

= 0.64

Tiles: 87.04/0.64

= 136

  • We have to evaluate the above expression by using the given data.

           Given data:-  A room is13.6 meters long and6.4 meters wide.

           To find:-Value of how many tiles will be required.

           Solution:-

            Therefore we get,

           \text { Area pavement }=13.6 \times 6.4=87.04 \mathrm{~m}^{2}

          \text { Area of } 1 \text { marble tile (square shaped) }=(80)^{2}

                                                                       =6400 \mathrm{~cm}^{2}\\=0.64 \mathrm{~m}^{2}

        \text { Number of tiles }=\frac{\text { Area of pavement }}{\text { Area of } 1 \text { tile }}\\

                                   =\frac{87.04}{0.64}=136

        Hence we will require the136 tiles.
