Given :----

  • Length of room = 13.6m = 1360cm
  • Breadth of room = 6.4m = 640cm
  • Side of Square marble = 80cm.

To Find :-------

  • Number oF Tiles Required in Room Floor ?

Formula used :-------

  • Area of room = length * Breadth
  • Area of square tile = (side)²
  • Number of Tiles Required = (Area of Room)/(Area of one marble tile) .

Solution :--------

Putting all values in above Told Formula we get,

No. of Marble Tiles Required = (1360*640)/(80*80)

→No. of Marble Tiles Required = 136

Hence , Total 136 Marble Tiles Required in the Room ..

\huge\mathbb{SOLUTION:-}

\bf{Given:-}\begin{cases}\sf{Dimensions\:of\:room}\\ \sf{length=13.6m\:\: breadth=6.4}\\ \sf{side\:of\: square\:marbles=80cm}\end{cases}

\huge\star{\sf{\red{To\:Find:-}}}

The number of marble needed for floor

\bf\underline{\underline{\blue{According\:to\: Question:-}}}

  • Now first convert the length and breadth of room into cm
  • length =13.6×100= 1360cm
  • breadth=6.4×100= 640cm

\boxed{\sf{\star{Area\:of\: rectangle=length\times breadth}}}

\sf\implies  Area\:of\:room =1360\times 640\\ \\ \sf\implies Area\:of\:room=870400cm{}^{2}

  • Now the area of tiles which is in the form of square now the area of tiles

\boxed{\sf{\star{Area\:of\: square=side{}^{2}}}}

\sf\implies  Area\:of\: 1\: tiles=(80{}^{2}\\ \\ \sf\implies  Area\: of\: 1\:tiles=6400cm{}^{2}

  • Now the number of tiles needed for room

\boxed{\sf{No.\:of\:tiles\: required=\frac{Area\:of\:room}{Area\:of\:tiles}}}

\sf\implies No.\:of\:tiles\: required=\cancel{\frac{870400}{6400}}\\ \\ \sf\implies No.\:of\:tiles\: required =136

\boxed{\sf{\star{\purple{Number\:of\:tiles\: required=136}}}}
