Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:Given :

Length of room (l) = 13 m

Breadth of room (b)= 9 m

Breadth of carpet= 75 cm = 75/100= .75 m

[ 1 cm = 1/100]

Area of room = length × breadth

Area of room = 13×9 = 117 m²

Let Length of required carpet be x m

Area of carpet = x × .75= .75x m²

Area of carpet = area of room

.75x = 117

x = 117 /.75 = 11700/75= 156

Length of carpet = 156 m

Cost of carpeting 1 m = ₹ 65

Cost of carpeting 156 m = 156 × 65 = ₹ 10140

Hence, the cost of carpeting = ₹10140

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of room = the area of the carpet

length₁ × breadth₁ = length₂ × breadth₂

1300×900 = x ×75

1170000 = 75x

x = 1170000/75 = 15600cm = 156m

Cost = ₹(156 × 65) = ₹10140

The number in bold is your answer
