a room is 13 M long and 9 M broad find the cost of carpeting the room with a carpet 75cm broad at rupees 50 per metre

area of room = 13*9= 117 m2 = 1170000 cm2
length of carpet required= 1170000/75= 15600 cm = 156 m
cost of carpet = 50(156)= Rs 7800
