HELLO DEAR,

Length of room (l) = 13 m
Breadth of room (b)= 9 m

Breadth of carpet= 75 cm = 75/100= .75 m

[ 1 cm = 1/100]

Area of room = length × breadth

Area of room = 13×9 = 117 m²

Let Length of required carpet be x m

Area of carpet = x × .75= .75x m²

Area of carpet = area of room

.75x = 117

x = 117 /.75 = 11700/75= 156

Length of carpet = 156 m

Cost of carpeting 1 m = ₹ 65

Cost of carpeting 156 m = 156 × 65 = ₹ 10140

Hence, the cost of carpeting = ₹10140

I HOPE ITS HELP YOU DEAR,
THANKS

Answer:₹10140

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of the room= 13m

Breadth of the room =  9m

Area of the room= 13 X 9 =117m^{2}

Breadth of carpet= 75 cm = 0.75m

Length of carpet required = Area of the room/ Breadth of carpet= \frac{117}{0.75} =  156m

Rate of carpeting= ₹65/ m

∴ cost of carpeting the room= ₹65 x 156= ₹10140
