A room is 1360 cm long and 640 cm wide. Its floor has to be paved with square marble tiles of side 80 cm . How many tiles will be required?

1360/80 = 17 tiles across long

640/7 = 8 tiles across wide

total of 17*8 = 136 tiles will be needed.

But that’s theoretical, real world answer will be less than this as their will be some space in between each tile. so if that gap is about 1 to 2 cm, the last tile will need to cut down, but number of tiles required will be same in this case.
