Imagine standing in an empty hall with arbitrary lengths of sides. Assume the dimensions are 13×11×8. This means you gotta get 4 walls painted, two of which have dimensions 13×8 m² and two have dimensions 11×8 m², So total area to be painted = 2(13×8) + 2(11×8) = 384 m²

Cost of painting 1 m² = 25 paise = 0.25 rupees.

Cost of painting 384 m² = 96 rupees. Pretty cheep to paint a room, no?
