Answer:  4000 rs

Step-by-step

Lateral Surface area = 2 height(length + breadth)

                                    = 2 * 10 ( 13+9)

                                    = 20 * 22

                                    = 440 sqr m

after excluding windows and doors =  440- 40

                                                              = 400 sqr m

cost = 400*10

      = 4000 rs

Answer:

Rs4000

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Length of room = 13m

Breadth of room = 9m

Height of room = 10m

Cost= Rs10/sq metre

Doors and windows= 40sq.m

To find: Total sot of preparing the the 4 walls of the room

To solve this, we shall use an equation:

Lateral Surface area= 2Height (Length+Breadth)

Area= 2H (L+B)

i.e.,

- Area= 2 (10) (13+9)

- Area= 20 (22)

- Area= 440 sq.m

Area of the doors and windows= 40Sq.m

Wall area= Total area - are of walls and doors

= 440- 40

=400 sq.m

Total cost= Total area x cost

Total cost= 400 x 10

Total cost= Rs4000
