A room is 13m long and 9m wide. find the cost of carpeting it at rupee 60 per meter, if the carpet is 75cm wide. ​

Area of carpet = area of room.75x = 117x = 117 /.75 = 11700/75= 156Length of carpet = 156 m

Cost of carpeting 1 m = ₹ 65Cost of carpeting 156 m = 156 × 65 = ₹ 10140

Hence, the cost of carpeting = ₹10140
