area of carpet = Area of floor
area of floor =L x B
= 14.35 x 12.60 x m x m
=180.81 metre square = area of carpet

hey there !!!

__________________________

room's length = 14.35 m

and ,

room's breadth = 12.60m

now .,

area of the floor of room = length × breadth

area of floor of the room = 14.35 × 12.60 = 180.81 m².

hence the floor's area = carpet's area needed.

therefore ,

the carpet of area of 180.81m² is needed to cover the floor of the room.
