Given,

A room is 15 meters long a d 10 meters broad.

Area of its 4 walls is 750 square meters.

To find out,

Find the height of the room?

Explanation:

As it is given the dimensions of the room are length, breadth and height.So the room is in cuboidal shape.

So, The length of cuboid = 15 meters

The breadth of the cuboid = 10 meters

The height of cuboid = h meters

The area of 4 walls = 750 meters,that means it is the lateral surface area.

Solution:

Lateral surface area of cuboid = 2(length +breadth) × height

750 = 2(15+10)×h

750 = 2(25)×h

750 = 50 × h

h = 750/50

h = 15 meters

Therefore the height of cuboid is 15 meters.

Additional information:

Formulae of cuboid:

1.Lateral surface area of cuboid = 2h(l +b) square units.

2.Total surface area of cuboid = 2(lb+bh+hl) square units.

3. Volume of cuboid = lbh cubic units

Where, l = length of cuboid

b = breadth of cuboid

h = height of cuboid
