Area of rectangular space = (l × w) square unite

First we have to find out area of the room,

next ,we have to find out area of each tiles

Area of the room =( l × w) square unite

                             =  ( 1500cm × 800cm)                ( l= 15m, w= 8m ) given.

                              =1200000cm²

Area of each tiles =( l × w)square unite

                            =( 20cm ×8cm)                         ( l =20cm, w= 8cm) given

                            = 160cm²

Now we have to find out total number of tiles

                         = (Area of room ) ÷ (Area of each tiles)

                         =( 1200000cm² ) ÷( 160cm ²)

                         = \frac{1200000}{160}

                         = 7500

∴ Total number of tiles will be 7500.

Ans :- Total number of tiles will be 7500.
