a room is 15m long and 9.5m wide. a square carpet of side 11m is laid on the floor. how much area is left uncarpeted

area of room= l×b
15×9.5
=142.5m2
area of square carpet=side×side
=121m2
area left uncarpeted= 142.5- 121
=21.5m2
