Area of 1 window = 1.2 square metre.  ---------(equation 3)

Area of 3 Windows =Area of 1 window $\times$ 2

Area of 3 Windows = 3.6 square metre.  ------(equation 4)

Total area of walls $=(2\times length\times height)+(2\times width\times height)$

Total area of walls $=(2\times 16\times 3)+(2\times 9\times 3)$    -------(given)

Total Area to be distempered = Total area of wall - total area of 2 doors - total area of 3 windows

Cost of distempering the walls = Total area to be distempered $\times$ Per square metre cost of distempering the walls
