Correct question : A room is 4cm wide 3m long and 2 1/2 high what is the total area of the walls.

Solution : -

Given, breadth of the room = 4 cm

                                               = 0.04 m

            length of the room = 3 m

            height of the room = 3 / 2 m

We know, area of four walls = 2( l + h )*h

∴total area of the walls = 2( 0.04m + 3 m )3/2 m

                                      = ( 3.04 m ) 3m

                                      = 9.12 m^2

total area of the walls = 9.12 m^2
