Hello Friend

Here is your answer

As we know
1 m = 100 cm
1 cm = 1/100 m

Length of the room is 4 m 20 cm
= 4+20/100 m
= 4 + 0.20 m
= 4.2 m

Breadth of room is 3 m 65 cm
= 3 + 65/100 m
=3 + 0.65 m
= 3.65 m

Now
Area of floor of the room = Length × Breadth
 = 4.2 \times 3.65 \\  = 15.33 \: m {}^{2}
Carpet is I Square meter length

So Square meter Carpet required is
= Area of floor/ Area of Square meter Carpet
 =  \frac{15.33}{1}  \\  = 15.33m
Therefore 15.33 Square meter Carpet is required to cover the floor of room.

Hope it helps you

Hi

Answer is

Length = 4.20 m

Breadth = 3.65 m

Area = Length × Breadth

 = 4.20 \times 3.65 \\  = 15.33 \: m {}^{2}

Area of Carpet= 1 sq.m

Square meter Carpet required = 15.33/1

= 15.33 m

Hope it helps you
