A room is 5 m long and 3 m 50 cm wide. How many square metres of carpet is needed to cover the floor of the room completely?​

Given :

Length = 5m

Breadth = 3m 50 cm = 3.5m

The area of carpet needed to cover the floor of the room = The area of the room

=》 area of room = Length ×Breadth

=》 5m × 3.5m
