Hii friend,
Length of the room = 5m 40 cm = 5 × 100 + 40 = 540 cm
Breadth of the room = 4m 70cm = 4×100+70 = 470 cm.
Carpet required to cover the floor of the room = L × B = 540 × 470 = 253800 cm² = 253800/100 = 2538 M².
HOPE IT HELPS!!!
