A room is 6 m long and 5 m wide . How many carpets 1.5 m by 1 m will be required to cover it's floor , and what will be the cost of the carpets at Rs. 80.25 a piece ?

Area of Room = 6 × 5 = 30 m²

Area covered by one carpet = 1.5 × 1 = 1.5 m²

No. of the carpets required = 30 / 1.5 = 20

Cost per carpet = Rs. 80.25

Total Amount = 80.25 × 20 = Rs. 1605
