A room is 680 cm long and 320 cm wide. It is to be paved with square marble tiles of side 40 cm. How many such tiles will be required?​

breadth of the room is 320 CM

area of the room =680 *320=217600 centimetre square

area of 1 square tile is 40 * 40(cm)=1600 CM square

number of tiles required = area of room / area of tile=21 7600 /1600=136
