A room is 7.5m long and 5.5m wide.A square carpet of side 5m is laid on the floor. Find the area of th floor which is not carpeted.

Area of room = 7.5*5.5 = 41.25(l*b bcoz rectangle)

Area of carpet= 5*5 = 25( s*s bcoz square)
