HOPE IT HELPS :

Given :

Dimensions of room are :

Length = 9.68 m

Breadth = 6.2 m

Dimensions of a single tile :

Length = 22 cm = 0.22 m

Breadth = 10 cm = 0.1 m

Solution :

Area of room = ( 9.68 x 6.2 ) m^{2}

Area of a single Tile = ( 0.22 x 0.1 ) m^{2}

Hence number of tiles required are :

Tiles = Area of floor / Area of Tile

Tiles = 2728

Hence amount required = (2728) x (Cost of one tile)

Amount = 68200 Rs.
