The above image is of room's dimension ( rough figure)

The room is rectangular in shape

let's convert m into cm

1 m = 100 cm

9 m = 9 × 100 = 900 cm

7.5 m = 7.5 × 100 = 750 cm

Area of rectangular room = Lenght × breadth

Area of rectangular room = 900 × 750

Area of rectangular room = 675000 sq.m

Area of room = 675000 sq.m

now finding Area of tiles

Tiles is Also rectangular in shape .

Area of rectangular tile = Lenght × breadth

Area of rectangular tile = 25 × 20

Area of tile = 500 sq.cm

Tiles required = Area of room / Area of tiles

Tiles required = 675000 / 500

Tiles required = 1350

cost of 1 tile is 45

Total cost to cover the whole room = 1350 × 45 = ₹60750

Total cost for covering whole room with Tiles = ₹ 60750 .
