Given : A room is in the form of cuboid its measurement are 7.2 * 9.6 * 3.5 m

To find : length of diagonal of face  & longest stick that could be accommodated in the room

Solution:

A room is in the form of cuboid

measurement are 7.2 * 9.6 * 3.5 m

Diagonal on Each face

= √7.2² + 9.6²  = 2.4√3² + 4² = 2.4 * 5  = 12  m

= √7.2² + 3.5²  ≈ 8  m

= √9.6² + 3.5²  ≈ 10.2  m

longest stick    that could be accommodated in the room

= √7.2² + 9.6²   + 3.5²

= √156.25

= 12.5 m

longest stick that could be accommodated in the room= 12.5 m
