The area of ceiling = Area of rectangle formed by its walls

= 7 * 5

= 35m²

=> Cost of white washing of 35 m² of ceiling = 35 * 8.50

= Rs. 297.5

Answer - The cost of white washing the ceiling is Rs. 297.5
