A room is is 8cm long and 5.5 m high . It has one door of dimensions 2.5 m by 2 m and two windows each of dimensions 1.5 m by 1 m . Find the cost of whitewashing the walls at ₹3:20 per sq . m.

Area of roof=2(l+b)×h=2(8+6)×5.5=154
Area of door= 2.5×2=5
Area of 2 Windows= 1.5+1.5=3
ACT
= area of door + area of 2 Windows
= 5+3=8
= area of roof subtract area of window and door
=154-8=146
=146×3.20=467.20
