A room is thrice as long as the breadth. It contains 270 m³ of air and the cost of painting its 4 walls at Rs.15 per m² is Rs.3600,find the cost of carpeting the floor at Rs.98 per m².​

so. Area of base × Hight= 270

L×B×H=270

3x^2× H=270. @1

and TSA of Wall = 3600/15

2H×(L+B) =240m2

8x × H. =240. @2

divide @1 by @2

so, 3x/8=9/8

x=3m

So area of floor = lb

= 3×9

=27m^2

so total cost= 27×98

= 2646 rupees
