Given : Length and breadth of the room is 450 cm and 350 cm respectively.

To Find : Side of the largest square tile that can be used without cutting.

Solution :

Length of the room = 450 cm.

Breadth of the room = 350 cm

To find the side of the  largest square, we will find the HCF of 450 and 350 because HCF will be the side of the largest square tile that can be used without cutting.

HCF is Highest Common Factor.

∴  450 = 5×5×3×3×2

   350 = 5×5×7×2

So, HCF = 5×5×2 = 50.

∴ side of the largest square tile = 50 cm.

Answer:

Yes! Here is your answer!

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Length and breadth of the room is 450 cm and 350 cm respectively.

To Find:

Side of the largest square tile that can be used without cutting.

Solution:

Length of the room = 450 cm.

Breadth of the room = 350 cm

To find the side of the  largest square, we will find the HCF of 450 and 350 because HCF will be the side of the largest square tile that can be used without cutting.

HCF is Highest Common Factor.

∴  450 = 5×5×3×3×2

350 = 5×5×7×2

So, HCF = 5×5×2 = 50.
