a room measuring 25m in length and 10m in breadth is required to be floored with a carpet ,which is 100cm wide .hpw many metres of carpet is required to cover the floor

Area of the room = 10*25 = 250
Now, width of carpet = 100 cm = 1 m
Therefore length of carpet required = 250/1=250 m
